Description
Aromatic plant, species of reed whose green or white capsules very fragrant, are composed of seeds which one dries. These seeds are used as spices mainly in the East, in the Nordic countries, India and the Arab countries. This spice, originally from Asia, has been known in Europe for a very long time. The Arabs use it to flavor their coffee, the Indians with their curry and the Scandinavians with marinades and pickles. Cardamom is found in two presentations: either in powder or in whole seeds.
