Description
Rosacea is a skin condition that is characterized by redness on the cheeks, nose, forehead and chin. As the disease progresses, these rednesses can become permanent and be accompanied by dilated vessels (rosacea) on the cheeks and the wings of the nose, as well as red spots. It affects more often women between 40 and 50 years, more readily individuals with skin, eyes and light hair. The physiological explanation of the phenomenon is poorly known, but it would be a disorder in the blood vessels of the face. It is an incurable and progressive skin disease whose seizures are most often triggered by extreme temperatures or the sun. The disease can evolve in several stages inconsistently.
